  • too bad i am under 18 so i cant use paypal :(
    i really like your work

  • You cannot seem to purchase this bundle without a paypal account.

I have used paypay to pay for online good many times but I have no intention of giving them permanent access to my credit card info.

  • Sorry, only paypal this time. Maybe in the next bundle, if there are next bundles.

  • Weird that you have to have a user when it says that you should be able to pay as an guest :I

  • you dont need to give paypal permanent access to your credit card account, once youve made the purchase you can simply remove the card from your paypal account, simples.

  • Although the games are garbage I payed $1 just to let you guys know I really appreciate what U doing. Thanks!

And BTW where’s the postcard U people promised to send?

  • Problem downloading Star Twine. Says link has expired. Please advise.

  • Nevermind. Already got a wonderfully quick and courteous response from the game creator.

  • Yup, there was something wrong with the Star-Twine link so we replaced it! Should work now.

  • @r1j1k We never said we will send postcards, part of the Spring Cleaning Giveaways was people sending us postcards, not the other way around :)

  • @Tonci: It is not the Paypal only aspect that has me stumped, but presumably the way you have it set up.

I buy games through paypal about twice a week, without even having to create an account. But not only does this setup require an account but even when I do it does not accept my credit card.

  • @Jonathon Adding an option to pay directly with a credit card cost a fortune. This is a Recession Bundle for both parties. :) Will try to find a way around it. Check back tomorrow.

  • Mailed Paypal about it, I hope to get that fixed soon. In the meantime we found a workaround, you can write us at igbundlesATgmail.com and we can “request payment” via paypal, and you can pay without the paypal account. A little more complicated but will have to do until Paypal decides to answer our mail.

  • @r1j1k You know what, send me a mail again and I’ll send you a postcard as soon as I get the chance :)

  • hey just noticed that Star-Twine is available on desura.. how about redeemable keys for those who use desura?

  • @Kang The plan was to make all games DRM-free but we’ll see, maybe we’ll add Desura keys as well

  • The steam game being a F2P steam game is a stupid as $”#” marketing ploy

  • this site deletes any negative comments, instead of addressing the issues.

  • No, we delete trolling, spam and insults, and Akismet recognized your rants as spam. What is the issue you want to address?

  • I think the issue he wants to adress is that people think this bundle is a scam and is just here to fill up your own pockets.

  • Well, everyone has a right to their own opinion, no matter how misplaced it is. And by “people” you mean 10 year old trolls that have nothing better to do than to throw around wild accusations without a shred of proof or logic behind them? If you don’t like the bundle, you’re always welcome not to buy it.

  • Another request for Desura keys for 8-Bit Night and Star-Twine. I’ve had less than stellar luck with hard drives/backups and so having access to games on a platform that allows for infinite re-downloading is greatly appreciated :)

And correct me if I’m wrong, but Desura itself isn’t a DRM like Steam is, so offering a Desura key still keeps it DRM-free.

  • How many percent goes to the charity?
I also agree with what Goteki said.. desura key please :)

  • Conglaturation? As in Ghostbusters?

  • @Karfein Yes, like the Ghostbusters :)

  • @Goteki We’ll see if we can get Desura keys, if we can, we’ll make an announcement!

  • @Kof Chua 10% goes to charity

  • Can you post a breakdown of where each $ goes? How much to charity / devs / you / anything else?

  • A humble suggestion:

Can you please include the download links to the freeware titles on donors’ links page, in addition to the non-freeware games? It would be a small convenience for the donors to be able to keep the links on a single bookmarked page, instead of having to keep their purchase link as well as this post. Thank you!

  • Congratulations is spelled wrong in the end.

  • @RedditUser Evenly between all parties involved.

  • @Captain Suggestion That’s a great idea, will implement that soon!

  • Tonci on July 6, 2012 3:38 pm

@RedditUser Evenly between all parties involved.

So if the devs get 10% that means there are nine other parties each getting 10%?

  • @RedditUser, Yes, each developer, IGB and charity get 10% = 100%

  • Thanks!

  • Desura keys for the commercial games would be much appreciated, for convenience as much as anything. Desura doesn’t add any DRM by the way (the client is optional), so it wouldn’t go against any DRM-free principles.

  • @SirPrimalform We’re working on getting Desura keys

  • I just purchased the bundle, but realized once I’d paid via Paypal that no email had been asked for (or I’d failed to include an email), so I’ve not been able to download the paid for games. HELP!

  • @Whiterabbit-uk After paying you should land on download page. Send us a mail to igbundlesATgmail.com from your mail associated with PayPal account and we’ll send you the download links

  • I don’t know if this will be a common problem but Paypal won’t let me pay without signing up and I’ve made a point not to hold an account with them after some silliness on their part. I’m tempted to just go buy the games on my own but that won’t help you reach your goal.

    Any suggestions?

  • Judging from the CAG comments, the only that has receded is your humanity.

  • @Dysiode We’re sorting that out with Paypal, check back in a day or two

  • Hooray for Desura Keys!

  • Thank you for removing my question!!!
I will ask again!!! Is there a way to get 8bit and star twine on Desura?

  • @1Siger1 Didn’t remove it, spam filter must ate it. Yes, both 8-Bit Night and Star-Twine Desura keys will go to all the donators as soon as we get the mail server running, which we’re doing right now! Check your mail a bit later!

  • Here’s one more without a PayPal account and no desire/ intention to get one.
Is it possible to post an update when the PayPal issue is solved?

    TAL

  • @ Kate D. We talked to PayPal, they turned down the option to pay without the PP account because we’re from Croatia. Same thing with Google Checkout. Oh well. If we do manage to find a way, we’ll let you know for sure.

  • My suggestion.
Lower the limit of 2000$ for the soundtrack (1600$?). At Groupees, they do sth similar as well for goals and it works.

  • Why can I not click on the ‘Add to cart’ button for PayPal? I’ve clicked it hundreds of times now both on IE and FireFox and the page just sits there.. Nothing happens.

  • Same thing: tried with 3 different browsers and I cannot pay with paypal. If I try with bitcoins, I cannot set my own price.

  • I got paid today and can afford it, but now the PayPal button doesn’t work anymore?

I have a PayPal account, I just need to get the payment in.

    Help!!!

  • Everything should work now, sorry. Paypal button tends to “decide to stop working” sometimes.
