The Book Thief It’s just a small story really, about, among other things, a girl, some words.

  • Fletcher Grecian

Dune has got to be an all-time fave. Hyperion was a hidden gem as well.

  • Jörg

My favourite book is Ken Follett’s “Pillars of the Earth”. It is very large/long but i have read it complete! Great book! its one of the most readed books in germany behind the bible of course

  • sbenrap

I’m really enjoying the K-Pax books by Gene Brewer (currently reading the 4th), the first 3 are an excellent read (especially if you enjoyed the movie)

  • BubbyBobble

Psychological horror, history, science, and sci-fi are a few of the things that I enjoy reading.

  • Jörg

  • ICDeadPpl

“Time and Again” by Jack Finney.

  • Yjgalla

I’m the F&SF type. My all-time favorite is Tanith Lee’s “Don’t Bite The Sun” even if Elizabeth Bear and Justina Robson come close in wonderful-ness.

  • Omer Faruk Bingol

Books are just a pretty awesome way to remunerate one’s time.

  • Marcus Estrada

Horror is my favorite genre! I have yet to really expand beyond the “big names” though. If anyone has some suggestions let me know :D.

    I ♥ books.

  • Pyrolux

Let me put my love of books this way: I am finally getting the last of my boxes unpacked from moving and arranging my room….and I have to go buy MORE shelves so I can put all my books out. I also have a Kindle Fire. Before I had that, I was buying books from the kindle store, and using the Kindle app on my android phone and in Chrome to read. I have a backlog of books to read (physical and digital) as big as my backlog of games on Steam. I love used book stores, because when I walk in, I take a nice, slow, deep breath to enjoy that wonderful book smell and I feel more relaxed and at home when I can smell that smell.

  • BAHCrocker

I just LOVE books and the StoryBundles are usually great collections!

  • Andreas Backelin

I think the best ones are horror/thriller stories that you believe could actually happen

  • MareGoldnHr

I enjoy reading a good book and I also enjoy digital books. I like the convenience of the digital books! My reading choices are eclectic! I’ve recently read the Game of Thrones Series and now reading The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo and The Curse of Chalion. I also enjoyed the Children of the Lion Series which is a historical based fiction. Books take you away to a different place and time to experience!

  • Aji Mundi

I enjoy sci-fi books immensely. Among my favorites are the Dune series by Frank Herbert and the Foundation series by Isaac Asimov. For the more current publication, I am awaiting the continuation of the Safehold series by David Weber.
E-books are great, at the very least they’re immune to the plague of ‘the borrowed and never returned.’ :p And with the advent of decent quality cheap Android smartphone, I can now take my hobby everywhere without cluttering my bag.

  • SkyLark84

Adventure and Fantasy books. Here is one adventure book that I like Mutiny on the Bounty book by John Boyne.

  • Science fiction/supernatural books are my favorites. Thanks!

  • Eustathios Oxtaplouts

I enjoy nonfiction on Law, Politics, Philosophy and Business. For fiction I go between Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Classics. I tend to read more nonfiction.
