    • I don’t mind the odd hidden object game, they’re casual AF but that makes a nice change from everything else I play. It’s not to everyone’s taste, that’s for sure, but it’s a popular genre nonetheless.

          • I’m with you on the hidden object games. They can be fun for a diversion from other games. I do find the story lines somewhat painful at times, but it’s not like they’re the driving factor in playing. I often find I can play these with my daughter or wife. Being colour blind (or “colour vision deficient” if you’re sensitive to name calling) can be a disadvantage in these games, so I try to enlist some help 🙂

I did play and finish one the other week which wasn’t too bad. Story line was a bit naff, but the game overall was pretty decent.

      • I mean, I’ve tried to play Sam & Max: Hit the Road for about 3 months (even though it’s more of a point&click-game, but it’s close enough to be a hidden object game). I like the game, but it’s tedious. I’ve tried a few hidden object games in my life, but all of ’em are quite tedious in my opinion. Just like you said, they could be great to play when you’re drunk, but while playing I like to stay sober while gaming… unless I’m playing Bioshock: Infinite.

Maybe I’ll try to play these hidden object games while drunk, if only BigFishGames-launcher worked properly.
