  1. I’ve bought a lot of these in the past. Keep telling myself after every disappointment…that’s the last. But it taps into the same kind of addiction that scratch cards do. But I have had some decent results and it’s that…the thrill of getting something decent…that spurs people on. I’ve told myself that I’m not going to take a chance on this one. But I’ll probably buckle. 🙂

    • Clearly some people buy these, because they keep pushing them out. Usually it’s 90% junk or games that have been bundled a lot. I guess they’re just clearing out excess keys of games they can’t sell.

I usually avoid them like the plague, and would recommend most people do the same. Unless you’re new to gaming and want to pick up a bunch of older games cheap.

      • Decided to check out the previous bundles and… this is pretty awful. I do love F1 Race Stars, but like you said, it’s been bundled a lot. The last mystery bundle had KOTOR, Dead Island and even Borderlands Pre-Sequel.

I, myself, haven’t bought any of these for the obvious reason: why buy a game when you don’t even know what the game is?

        • “why buy a game when you don’t even know what the game is?” Exactly this. The mystery! Some people like that. I understand that. Even I bought these mystery bundles a few times. I remember being satisfied once and felt like I wasted money other times. After all, it is a gamble. And we humans like to gamble!

        • Yeah, but just because they advertised those games didn’t mean you’d get any of those games. Makes sense they’d have more copies of the cheaper stuff and hence more likely to score those.

          • I meant more like that there was a “chance” to get games like these. But it’s pretty much guaranteed that they would have a few keys of good games and the rest would be like Papper Balls crap.
