    • Deponia is a good “classic” point n click adventure game. Some of the puzzles (from an aging memory) are a little challenging, but rewarding. Graphically it’s really well done, and the voice acting (for the English speaking version) is very good as well. If you’re into the point n click genre, I’d recommend it.

Postal 3 is a different developer to 1, 2 and 4. They may not have been onboard with bundling the game.

      • Yeah, I started Deponia quite a while ago an enjoyed what I played until I ended up walking around with no idea where to go or what to do next, and am too stubborn to admit defeat and resort to guides. A common problem with point ‘n’ clicks. For my money I enjoyed the Walking Dead series a lot more. A lot more straight forward in terms of gameplay but a much more impactful story.

        • I agree, I also quit Deponia after a while but I finished The Walking Dead and the story of Clementine and Lee stuck with me. I remember it well even after 10 years.

          • It probably explains why I played Deponia 1 and 2 (although my memory is fuzzy on finishing 2) and never played 3 and 4. I think I found 2 a little too challenging, and ended up with the same “wander around, get bored, quit” issue.

If you like the Walking Dead games, then you’d probably like the other TellTale games as well. One of my favourites is the Back to the Future series. I played those quite some time ago, and really enjoyed them.

I think I own the Walking Dead games but haven’t played them yet. Hopefully I’ll get a chance to go through my “backlog of doom” soon.

          • Yeah, I’ve enjoyed most TellTale games I’ve played. Also enjoyed Back to the Future, and Wolf Among Us and Batman were also pretty good. I never did finish Tales From the Borderlands but with a sequel on the way I’ll probably go back to it at some point.

          • Oh I loved Tales from The Borderlands but I never really liked the “normal” Borderlands games. Too much inventory management for my taste 🙂
