  1. Free version (ps4 license only (possible to play on ps5 via backwards compatibility)) got removed. It was probably a technical mistake and not an official giveaway.

    • When I checked earlier today it was available for free in UK and Germany as well but now the price tag for the free one seems vanished. Perhaps it was a mistake on their side???
Edit: the version that went free is removed from the store it was definitely a technical mistake.

  2. Actually this is not spesific to europe. The thing is the version which they are offering for free doesn’t have ps vita version but the version they are selling with money is ps4+ps vita. They just made one of the versions free and gave a discount to the other one. It seems that this for has nothing to do with being in europe or not but only related to whether your country has the spesific version that went free. This is why despite the fact my region is european in the ps store I was unable to claim the game. So this has nothing to do with region but whether your ps store having the ps4 only version. Still don’t believe me? Just make a quick search on ps store you’ll notice that there is 2 versions: one of them discounted, one of them is free (If your store has the ps4 only version). Indie Game Bundles seems to be misinterpret this so I wanted to fix it 🙂

QUICK SUMMARY: THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH REGION IT IS RELATED TO VERSION AVAILABILITY

Edit: always check the description. If description talks about psvita it is discounted version. If it doesn’t talk about psvita it should be free.

    • Read the description. Store page might say ps4 but the description should say that the game is for the ps4+psvita if there is a discount. Description should talk about psvita.
Edit: just confirmed my previous comment. I mean I knew I was right but checked my facts anyway just in case 🙂

      • The article talked about PS4/PS5 so I wasn’t worried about Vita. There isn’t a PS5 version on the Aus store. Although the changes they’ve made to the store are so terrible it’s possible it’s there and searching “crypt of the necrodancer” doesn’t return it, as I see searching “spiderman” doesn’t return Mis Morales so anything’s possible.

    • It seems that this is not region locked but rather about version availability. The version that went free only grants ps4 license (which you can play on ps5 backwards compatibility), the version that gets discounted is ps4+ps vita. So check your store maybe you’ll find it for free. By the way because of this has nothing to do with regions, I am unable to get this game for free despite the fact I am in european region so like I said this has nothing to do with region. Just check your store and try your luck for the version that says “free” as a price tag.
