  1. Getting a free-to-play game for free? <_<

For anyone wondering, you still don't get to play the game until the end of March. Then you'll get access to what they call a "closed beta", but since anyone can currently sign up for it, that could arguably be considered an "open beta". And of course, they've said the pay shop will already be open at that time, so they'll be ready to take your money if you wish to throw it at them for virtual goods. Although technically, they'll already take your money in exchange for one of their "starter packs", if you have nothing better to do with it. Oh, but for signing up to this beta, you can get a virtual helmet covered with virtual advertisements for a popular energy drink, apparently to protect your virtual head from virtual trees.

The game itself looks like it could be decent though.

    • I was wondering the same thing, but I don’t think they are going to send keys. I think this is going to be a free to play game with lots of dlc. If you want to play the game now you have to pay for it, but I think on march 28th the game will release for free. Not sure what the purpose of signing up was.

  2. I don’t play sports games and I don’t ski or snowboard, but I wan’t to play this game just for the atmosphere, snow, and music, it looks great. The last snowboarding games I played were 1080 Snowboarding for N64 and Heavy Shreddin for the NES. We’ll have to wait till march 28th for the free version though.
