It’s a bit of a stretch to call these Amazon bundles “free games” when they’re part of a $140 per year / $15 per month subscription service (the pricing here needs updating). And while there’s a trial promotion for the service, it’s only available to those who haven’t been subscribed for over a year. Games locked behind a pay-wall with an occasional trial are not really what most would consider “free”, at least not compared to other services giving away games with no strings attached.
Whilst I don’t disagree in your most basic concept of “free”, there’s a lot more to offer on Amazon when it comes to what you get.
The whole Amazon Prime offers:
– Monthly games
– Music
– Books
– TV shows / movies
– Free delivery on a lot of items.
When you compare that to what most streaming services offer, you have to admit, the cost is pretty good. Most people subscribe for either the TV or the free delivery, the rest is just a bonus.

The Evil Within 2 rated very well so I’m pretty interested in playing that game. Also Breathedge and Beat Cop are types of games I’d like. I already played Chicken Police: Paint it RED! and while that rated well too, I was just really bored with it. I won’t blame the game though, because I think it was more like a visual novel and I’m just not much into those. The last two I’m not interested in at all. So I’m pretty happy that I’m getting 3 games out of the collection of 6, so this month’s games overall are not too bad.
The Evil Within 2 was pretty decent when I played 2-3 years ago. I recommend you to play the first game first before you decide to tackle the second one, if you haven’t.
Edit: how can you not be interested in Lawn Mowing Simulator?
You know, you’re so right – what was I thinking?!?? I’m going to drop everything and play this game RIGHT NOW!!!
Lol, I admit it did rate decently and the graphics are nice and it is actually a lawn mowing business simulator and one can mow some of the loveliest lawns across the UK, but according to quite a number of the negative reviews, the controls can be difficult. My hand-eye coordination isn’t that great so I’m skipping the game mainly for this reason!
About your recommendation, I agree that I should play the first one. It might be quite a while before I can get that one free and I don’t really want to buy it myself though. So what I’ll do is watch a playthrough of the first one before I play the second one. So thanks for the advice!
I’d say the cutscenes are at least good to watch, as there are lot of references and especially the ending stuff in the sequel is pretty much a full-on throwback to the first game.
