I had the same problem of adding product to steam account, but it seems to have corrected now.

I got the same, but later found out the game was still added.
Whenever I click the ‘add to account’ button it just leads me to a screen that says “The link you followed does not appear to be a valid URL.”
Are you using the web interface or the Steam client? I always have more luck with the Steam client.

I receive an error stating the game cannot be added to my Steam account.
I already have it but when I went to Steam to double check, it was saying it was $19.99 and in my library.. it just went free today so not sure what’s up with the price for those that don’t have it yet.
