    • Super powers? Kind of. If you count vampirism from one of the DLC’s.
If you mean like superhero powers? That’s Saint’s Row 4.
As for the other part of you question? The answer is yes.

    • In Australia it was the weapon that you stuck up people’s butts and fired that our Classification Board had issues with and forced them to censor it before release. That and the mission where you take alien drugs and get even more super superpowers, that had to go. I imported my copy at the time.

  1. Nice!
I already owned the full version of 3 on Steam, didn’t see a reason to pay for this, considering how glitchy people said it is.
Now if Deep Silver actually fixed this game, that would be even nicer.
Just found out the reason for the freebie, is they’re remaking Saints Row one.

Well the bad news is I found out they’re not remaking Saints Row 2, but got their hands on the original CD Projekt Red source code for the PC port and are now working to fix Saints Row 2.
And check if you don’t believe me, CD Projekt Red did the PC port of SR2 and then pretty much gave up on it.
Which is why it’s in such bad shape.
    Still playable, but buggy AF.

    • Just today I read the guy who was fixing the SR2 PC port just died of cancer, which is sad news and casts doubt on the future of the SR2 patch, unfortunately.

      • Mike Watson was his name. He was the community manger for Volition and the lead programmer on the SR2 patch project. He wasn’t the only person working on the SR2 patch.
According to Volition themselves it was a 2 man team. Still, this lowers the chances of it actually getting done by a large degree.

I’m a bit salty that they only put two guys on the job. SR2 is IMO the better entry of the series and actually deserves to be fixed. Barring that, they should just remake SR2 if fixing CD Project Red’s screw ups prove impossible.

          • The Saints Row reboot is an entirely different game. From the ground up.
Watch an LP of the original and compare it to the new trailer if you don’t believe me.
So they’ve at least made one new game. Unfortunately Volition themselves said there was not plans to remake or reboot SR2.
