  1. Had Bloodstained wishlisted for awhile. A few interesting things here, I’ll bite. Remember to try pause first for the $4 off offer.

    • Update: Bloodstained was an above average metroid-vania, very fun. I gave As Far As The Eye to my wife and she has been hooked on it ever since if that’s your thing. Blue Fire was okay, I only played it for a few hours. Still looking forward to playing Carto and maybe Drake Hollow.

  2. I mean, Bloodstained and Superliminal are GREAT. But the rest of the bundle is all samey, crafting, strategy multiplayer. Oh well. I’ll get it for those two (and Blue Fire).

    • This is almost exactly what I was going to say, I saw those 2 and thought hell… looks like I might get a bundle for a change. Then one by one went through the rest and went MMO ugh, tactical ugh, multiplayer no, RTS ugh, strategy ugh..

      • I haven’t written a game worth a damn, so I can’t say how hard it must be. I’ve written software as a hobby, and that can be challenging enough. However, I get the impression that strategy, RTS and MMO style games must be easy compared to other genres. They’re a “dime a dozen” on Steam and permeate Humble Choice on an all too regular basis.

I’ll have a quick look at the games, but it feels like another pause month.

And WTF is with the “free” game? I remember when the Vault games were good games, not freeware junk worthy of IndieGala.

        • Yeah, the DRM free one is one of their own, and as much as it’s an amusing idea (I’m being very generous here), it really doesn’t look good.

    • I ended up biting, Bloodstained is alright, but Superliminal is awesome, that alone is totally the worth the price of admission. Which is lucky, because what I’ve played of the others so far is… ugh, yeah, strategy. I’m sure the right person will like them, but that ain’t me.

      • I know I’m late to the party on this comment, but I’m going to take the punt on this month as well. Hopefully there’ll be enough to keep me entertained (in 6 months time when I get round to playing).
