  1. Only 8 games this month given that one is an upgrade to another game in the bundle. If the upgrade had been for the 3 season passes for the game I might have been tempted, but the Director’s Cut content looks underwhelming.

    • Your last line was what I was coming to comment on. From the Steam page:

Borderlands 3 gets even bigger with the Director’s Cut add-on, featuring a raid boss encounter, additional story missions, behind-the-scenes extras, and three sets of themed collectibles!

      Woo… Not.
Although, I don’t own BL3, and have enjoyed the other games in the series, so I’ll probably pick this one up. There are two sim builders in this one, which is a bit dull, and the rest look fair to middling at best.

      • I bought the base game on sale recently and it’s decent, but I think I’m just finally over the series. If you haven’t got sick of it yet you’ll definitely enjoy this one (unless you played them for the bad guys because they’re terrible here), but after loving BL 1 + 2 I gave up on the Pre-Sequel long before I completed it and I don’t think I’ll finish this one either. But for the AU$15 it’ll cost you it’s probably worth a look either way.

        • I can’t recall the last time I purchased a game on Steam. I used to hit up the sales all the time. Lately though, the bundles have been keeping me full, and I have a back catalogue that my grandchildren will be playing when they’re my age still.

I’m not sure if I own the pre-sequel. Yep, I do. And apparently I’ve only played 1.6 hours. Not sure what happened there. I don’t get a lot of time for gaming much. Work is long hours, and family takes up a lot more. 17 years and I can retire, and play games until I’m dead.

  2. I accidentally clicked on “Get this game on Steam” and used up my last month of Choice (I had a year of Choice that I spent over the last 2+ years). Oh well.
