  1. I tried out that Rocket League, but Golf game yesterday and it seemed kind of cool at first, but then I tried out the multiplayer. Not only are the cues insanely long, but the matches were almost entirely made out of bots and you don’t even really interact with each other. I thought you could actually slam each others balls away for that whole chaotic fun, but no, there’s only a rocket power-up, the only thing in the entire game that does anything to other players.
Other than that there are only single-player time trial missions and those get boring fast.
All of that for “only” 18.99€.
You can’t make a game like this more boring than that.

  2. I’m a bit iffy on this one. Some of the games look decent, and everything but Meeple Station has positive (or better) reviews. I have two main issues:
1/ Denuvo. Ghostwire: Tokyo added Denuvo just before the Humble release, and some people are complaining about significant performance drops.
2/ All the games are dark. I’m getting older, and every game set at night or in the dark to be atmospheric is just shit.

I’ll have to dig around the reviews a bit more for this one.

    • I played Ghostwire and Remnant on PS+. Ghostwire was a mediocre shooter, I didn’t last long on that one at all. Remnant is built around co-op so that was fun to play with friends but we all got sick of it after a few levels and moved on.

      • I agree about Ghostwire, it was fun for a few hours but it got repetitive after a while. Collecting souls and transferring them via telephone was a nice idea in theory but it was cumbersome and tedious in practice.

    • Remnant was free on Epic twice in the past, so you might have it already. I don’t believe it was the complete edition though.
