  1. It was my intention to pause this but after I did just that I got an email from the Humble folk offering me not just this month for $6 but the next two months for the same. There are only two games I’m interested in here (Katana Zero and Ring of Pain) but those on their own are easily worth the paltry discounted sum. Here’s hoping November and December are better. 🙂

  2. I count at least 4 previously bundled games in this one, that’s worse than last month. Looks like old pre-bundled games in these things are here to stay.

    • According to IsThereAnyDeal:

Garage: Bad Trip: Previously bundled 3 times, A$1.49 lowest price.
Guts and Glory: previously bundled 8 times, A$1.50 low.
Syberia 3: Previously bundled 5 times, A$1.50 low.
Hiveswap Friendism: No bundles mentioned, but has been as cheap as A$0.66.

It didn’t have bundle entries for The Textorcist or 112 Operator but I’m positive I’ve seen these bundled before as I remember looking both of them up on Steam before, and neither are my type of game so I only would have done that if they were in a bundle.

      • Thanks for the info.
This month is … well… it’s not good. I’m trying to be optimistic here. There is no real “flagship” game. There are few higher priced games, but nothing that stands out as a “I really want that” and will take the rest as a bonus. Some of the indie games look half decent, and some look really good. But there’s not enough meat on the bones to warrant picking up the carcass.

I’ll happily take the old Humble back, thanks.

If you want a laugh, watch the video embedded above. That “humble original” looks like a 1st year college students initial game demo. Wow. Ok, that’s left me with no more words.

        • Haha, yeah, I couldn’t believe how slow that game moved. How could anyone watch that trailer and go “that looks like fun”? Some of their self-published stuff looks alright, the stuff that doesn’t ends up in these.

        • Just for the record, though, I may actually get this because I was a huge fan of the original Amnesia and I’ve had Katana Zero on my wishlist for a while. I’m not proud of it, though, as it rewards them for filling a bundle with repeats and I’ll end up with dupes and a lot of garbage I’ll never play.

          • I own some of the Amnesia games, but have not played a single one of them. I’m not really into horror games. And from what I’ve seen, these are horror / stealth games. You hide from the baddie. Where’s the fun in that? I want to see the girl with a BFG blowing the baddies a new rectum. We’re all different though. I’m sure a game about watching grass grow and paint dry would appeal to some people.

          • I get that. Horror games aren’t for everyone. If you can easily blow away what ever is coming at you then it’s more of an action game with scary looking enemies than a horror game. But this game does Lovecraft better than any game that actually bears his name, and I’m a huge Lovecraft fan. Well, fan of his writing, the guy was a racist arsehat, even for his time.

      • Textorcist for sure, in the “Humble Headup Games Band Boost Bundle” It’s a dupe for me.

As if watching the world fall to pieces wasn’t bad enough. Is Humble trying to crush our spirits?

        • Yes. Yes. they are.
They’re determined to make everyone suffer.

I do wonder how much money they’re losing on these bundles, given that so many of us pause month after month after month.
