Yeah, we escaped the heat wave into the wilderness and spent the weekend in the cool river kayaking. It was pretty awesome 🙂
There’s been quite a bit of news on just how brutal the weather has been in Europe this year. England hit 40c the other day, which is unheard of. Hot summers are the norm in Australia, but most people here have some sort of air conditioning, which helps. I read that air con isn’t as common in a lot of European households, which is one of the reasons the heatwave is causing a lot of problems. Stay safe, and stay cool.
