  1. Here we go again, with another IndieGala bundle. Given that it’s around Halloween, this bundle contains all horror games in various guises. All the games have positive reviews, but take that with a grain of salt, as many people are either easily pleased or the game hasn’t been review bombed into oblivion.

As for the games, we have:
    * Chased by Darkness – A 1-4 Player co-op horror survival game, where you’re chased by something… Only 2 maps on this one, with no updates since April 2022.
    * Somni – An Early Access first person horror shooter with VR and co-op support. Last updated in September 2022. Updates seem decent enough too.
    * Deca – A first person horror survival game. Seems pretty generic. Nice graphics and sound.
    * Krampus is Home – Yet another first person survival horror game. Single player, PvP and co-op gameplay. This one is a little bit brighter than the other games, but still mostly dark.
    * Boogeyman 2 – It’s more of the same style of games. You play a little girl sitting in bed with a torch, waiting for “things” to come at you, and you shine your torch on them to defend yourself. Charge the torch batteries on the nightstand and repeat. It looks boring.
    * FM – A first person walking sim / horror game.

As usual, with all of these games, they’re very dark. Why? I don’t know… Dark is scary, I guess. If you have issues with your eyesight, you aren’t going to enjoy these at all. And if you’re not into horror games, you might as well skip this one.

If you’re a fan of horror games, then this is cheap enough to pull the trigger on and won’t scare your bank account, and you might just get enough fun out of it to be worthwhile.

Certainly better than most IndieGala bundles, but it’s genre specific and you have to be into that style of game.
