Very hard to find a games list, but going by the attached video I think this is running a Sega MegaDrive/Genesis emulator and not MAME like I was expecting.
Here’s the list of games. https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0314/0498/2409/products/mainimage5Mini-juego-Arcade-port-til-para-ni-os-y-adultos-156-juegos-cl-sicos-de-mano_1400x.jpg
Judging by that, you’re probably right. MegaDrive on a chip emulation.
Man what would I give for a real, big arcade machine with MAME running on it. But it’s way too expensive and I live in a tiny apartment, no place for it 🙁 One day!
I remember a few decades ago, when arcade machines were starting to become far less popular, you could pick one up for around $600 – $800 AUD, for a relatively simple game. The bigger and more extravagant games (the sit down racers, etc), would go for well over $1,000. I always wanted an original arcade machine. I could never afford one.
Now, you can get the MAME machines. They used to go for a similar price, depending on the configuration. A quick Google search found this. $1,245 with basic arcade controls – likely the cheap Chinese ones that work, but aren’t awesome.
I have the room, I’m just not sure about the cost 🙂 $50 for a button wired to the “p” key to pause…. Ouch.
I guess I’d have to make it myself but I’m an idiot when it comes to handywork.
