Hmm… a lot of mixed reviews in this one, and one of the top tier games (BL2) seems to be broken for Oculus. Still, keen on a enough games to make it worth my while, I think.
As good VR bundles are rare, this is an instabuy for me. Not perfect but a few good games here
Yeah, Borderlands is stuffed for Oculus, the crosshairs are off center and don’t line up with where you shoot and the HUD sits weirdly in the middle of the screen and gets in the way. You can turn off both crosshairs and HUD and I did this for a while, and even enjoyed it quite a bit for some time, but lack of crosshairs makes getting critical hits really hard and no HUD makes achieving some objectives almost impossible (like trying to kill Bullymongs with melee when you can’t see their health). People on the forum had contacted Gearbox and were told they were aware of the problems and they’d be fixed, but that was over a year ago.
Still, was a decent bundle overall.
