Mindcop is a non-linear detective adventure set in the quiet community of Merrylin Crater Camp, where somebody has been murdered and pretty much everyone deserves a closer look. You have just five days to investigate the residents, uncover their secrets, follow leads, and work out who actually committed the crime.
The unusual part is your ability to literally enter a suspect’s mind. These Mindsurf sequences play out as real-time match-3 puzzles. Complete one and you can explore that person’s “Sea of Thoughts,” where new clues and conversation topics may be hiding. Apparently normal police interviews were not invasive enough.
Time also matters. Almost every action eats into your five-day investigation, so you cannot simply exhaust every dialogue option and search every corner. You have to decide which people and clues deserve your attention, and those decisions can lead you toward different outcomes. The game includes two endings depending on how the investigation plays out.
