GOG is giving away Silence, a story-rich adventure game from Daedalic Entertainment, and because this is GOG, the game is DRM-free. That means no launcher is required, no online activation, and yes, you can download the offline installer like it is still the good old days and your internet connection cannot hurt you anymore.
The giveaway ends on July 10, 2026 at 16:00 EEST, according to the GOG page. Once you claim it, it stays in your GOG library.

ABOUT THE GAME:
Silence follows 16-year-old Noah and his little sister Renie, who take shelter in a bunker during an air raid and end up connected to a strange world between life and death. When Renie gets lost in Silence, Noah has to enter this beautiful but dangerous place to find her. So yes, it starts with “siblings in a magical world” and then immediately adds war, loss, monsters, and emotional damage. Very polite of it.
This is not a hardcore puzzle adventure like some older Daedalic games. It is more of a cinematic point-and-click story with gorgeous 2D-style backgrounds, 3D characters, three playable characters, light puzzles, and a strong focus on atmosphere and narrative. GOG lists it as Adventure / Action / Mystery, with tags like Story Rich, Point & Click, Puzzle, Great Soundtrack, and Short.
It currently has a 3.9/5 user rating on GOG, and HowLongToBeat lists the main story at around 5.5 hours, so this is a nice weekend-sized adventure rather than a “see you in 80 hours” commitment.
