ABOUT THE FREE GAMES:

Costume Quest is a Halloween adventure from Tim Schafer’s Double Fine Productions. In this charming role-playing game, choose your hero and trick-or-treat through three beautiful environments full of Double Fine humor and story. Complete quests, build your party, and collect costumes along the way that allow you to transform into powerful champions and take down the evil Repugians. This heroic holiday tale will capture the imaginations of kids and kids-at-heart.

IndieGameBundles recommendation: Come on, it’s a Tim Schafer game. The guy made Monkey Island, Grim Fandango, Psychonauts, Broken Age, Brutal Legend, Day of the Tentacle and tons more.

Absolutely worth checking out. 9/10

SOMA is a sci-fi horror game from Frictional Games, the creators of Amnesia: The Dark Descent. It is an unsettling story about identity, consciousness, and what it means to be human.

IndieGameBundles recommendation: If you like having nightmares, play this game. Scary as Amnesia, with a metric ton of heavy existential dread. Who are we? Why are we? Play and find out, if you dare.

9/10 if you like horror and sci fi. If not, play Costume Quest. But we recommend playing both.

HOW TO GET COSTUME QUEST AND SOMA FOR FREE:

Just head over to Epic Games Store or navigate to the games in their launcher before November 7th 2019, add the games to your cart and checkout. Simple as that. After that, the games are yours to keep, and play, forever.

Make sure to check in next Thursday for the next Epic Games Store freebies; Runner and Nuclear Throne
