Free Steam key for Skyrim for a random comment!

Skyrim is a game that needs no special introduction. It’s the next chapter in the highly anticipated Elder Scrolls saga from the makers of the 2006 and 2008 Games of the Year, Bethesda Game Studios. Skyrim reimagines and revolutionizes the open-world fantasy epic, bringing to life a complete virtual world open for you to explore any way you choose. And even by today’s standards, given the fact that it has a strong modding community, it still shines as it did couple of years ago.

However, there’s a catch! To win a free Steam key for Skyrim you’ll need to express your favorite shout in Dragon Language in the page comments, accompanied with morphological and linguistic analysis.

JK. Just tell us which shout did you used most, or looks coolest. So google it up (if you already don’t know the most famous one). This trailer might help, btw:

We’ve also threw in a Steam key for BOID in the mix!

BOID is an RTS about a Bio Organic Infestation Drone which crashlands on a planet, enabling its primitive life forms to mutate and develop special abilities. These life forms now have to fight for dominance. It’s a game about quick decisions and mutation. In short, a streamlined multiplayer RTS.

If you wish to win BOID head here! No special requirements! 😉

The giveaways end on February the 4th 00:00 CET.

That’s all! Best of luck everyone!

  1. Never really used the shouts, so Fus Rah Doh (sp?) I would use on rare instances. Loved playing as a Ranger. Could use a steam key… Xbox player here…

  2. the giveaway says i can’t join b/c i’m not a member of the required groups…but i am. i signed into steamgifts through steam, but it still won’t let me join the giveaway

  3. Never played Skyrim, but Raan Mir Tah sounds pretty awesome. Who wouldn’t want to fight alongside a bunch of wild animals?

  4. Yol Toor Shul Come on the second you heard you could do Dragon Shouts and they had abilities you wanted to breath fire.

  5. The shout I used the most when I played Skyrim on a X360 all those years ago was “Throw Voice” ( Zul, Mey, Gut) Then I would just sneak up being them & stab away

  6. The first one Fus. Namely because I did side mission (maybe even to many side missions) before tackling the main story. So as much as I wish I used Fus Ro Dah like everyone else I mostly used Fus.

  7. Fus Ro Dah! I like pushing people from me. Sometimes they fly like “SuperMan” and that it makes funny. When I want to clean up the tavern then I just use this shout and everything just flew up like I placed bomb in that room. I’m so sad that’s not working on dragons because it should be fun to see flying “flying” dragons 🙂

  8. Gol Hah Dov (Bend Will) is a great shout. I liked getting people to fight for me and then I could just watch and kill the victor afterwards.

  9. “Fus Ro Dah” that can be translated as “force balance push” and the most powerful shout of the game that pushes the enemies away =)

  10. A dragon’s name is also a Shout
A Shout, or Thu’um, is a form of magic performed by speaking specific phrases in Dovahzul. Each Shout is made up of three Words of Power, called rotmulaag. Shouts demonstrate the power and meaning that can be packed into only a few words. Part of learning Dovahzul is knowing how to say a lot with a little.
When a dragon uses a breath attack like fire or frost, it is speaking in an ancient and powerful language. A battle between two dragons is actually a deadly verbal debate.
Animal Allegiance: R1N Raan (animal) M7 Mir (allegiance) T4 Tah (pack)

  11. My favorite Dragon Shout in Skyrim is the Dragonrend.

Dragonrend is a dragon shout that weakens a dragon
and forces it to land. It is said to do so by forcing a dragon to
experience mortality, a completely foreign concept to the ageless and
immortal dragons. For this very reason, it is impossible for any dragon
to learn Dragonrend. A dragon on the ground shortens its fighting capability and life span!

The shout is learned during Alduin’s Bane, as part of the main quest, by hearing the three Nordic heroes, Gormlaith Golden-Hilt, Felldir the Old, and Hakon One-Eye, use it against Alduin, first Dragon ever born, and the most powerful and ancient of all the dragons.

The words shouted “JOOR” “ZAH” “FRUL.” is the Dragonrend. The first and second word version provide 1.5 seconds of time in which a dragon will be grounded for each second spent recharging your shout. However, the third word only provides 1.46 seconds of time a dragon will
be grounded for each second spent recharging after using the shout.

    Use it wisely, my friends!

  12. Mul Qah Diiv Dragon Aspect! My favourite! 🙂
( Thank you soo much for the chance! Respect from Hungary.! )

  13. Od Ah Viing

There is nothing more rewardiing then calling your own dragon toc ome help you in battle , especialy if that is a dragon versus another dragon.

A dragon shout is a sentence in dragon tounge so would Od ah viing trans late to snow hunter wing and that is the call the dragon that helps you out in a fight till all threats are elliminated reacts to . The dragon sentences do not seem to make sence in our speach and sound more like loose words put together but when we look at other shouts they do make sence as the sentence is a discriptive form of the spell, where in our language the description is the word it self “fireball” summons a fireball projectile. where the unrelenting power “Fus Ro Dah”(meaning force balance push) gives you the description of the spell, where all three words combined give the best description and thus the most power to the full shout.

  14. Coolest? Surely it doesn’t get better than Call Dragon. Who wouldn’t want a massive, fire-breathing lizard as a pet?

  15. Fus Ro Dah HET NOK FaaL VahLOKDeiNMaaR DO DOVAahGOLZ
    ahRK aaN FUS DO UNSLaaD
    RahGOL ahRK VULOM
Fus = Force; Ro = Balance; Dah = Push
The best Thu’um ever in Skyrim, i love it
    😀

  16. ZUL MEY GUT (Throw Voice) + Trap/Near Clift (Optional FUS RO DAH (Unrelenting Force)) = Win

    ZUL MEY GUT (Trow Voice)
    Voice Fool Far
The Thu’um is heard, but its source unknown, fooling those into seeking it out.

    FUS RO DAH (Unrelenting Force)
    Force Balance Push
Your Voice is raw power, pushing aside anything – or anyone – who stands in your path.

  17. Gol Hah Dov!!!
    Gol = Earth ; Hah = Mind ; Dov = Dragon
Why riding a horse when you can ride a Dragon? Best shout ever! 🙂

  18. WULD
    Whirlwind

    NAH
    Fury

    KEST
    Tempest

if you need to make a fast exit or suprise an enamy that is what you need to use.
