This is a head-to-head puzzle battler from Nicalis. You match falling crystals, build combos, mess with your opponent’s board, and try to look smart while everything collapses in real time.
The fun part is the roster. Crystal Crisis throws together characters from Cave Story, The Binding of Isaac, Astro Boy, Black Jack, Umihara Kawase, and more. It feels like someone looked at a normal puzzle game and said, “What if we made the character select screen legally confusing?”
You get local and online multiplayer, Arcade, Survival, Tag Team, Training, and a Story mode with branching paths. The game also has a Burst system for special attacks and defensive moves, so losing badly can at least look dramatic.
