Developed by MythicOwl, Hexologic takes the basic satisfaction of Sudoku and rebuilds it around hexagonal grids. Instead of filling boxes with numbers, you arrange dots inside hexagons so that the totals match the numbers shown at the ends of each row.
The rules are easy to understand, but the puzzles gradually introduce more complicated layouts and force you to think in several directions at once. There are more than 90 levels spread across six different worlds, along with additional challenges for players who want something tougher.
It is also Steam Deck Verified, making it a particularly nice game to keep around for short puzzle sessions. Just be warned that “I’ll solve one more before bed” is how these things usually start.
