Each decision you make, conversation and combat has an effect on the outcome.
You’ll get to choose between 25 playable characters from 2 different races and 7 different classes, each with unique abilities and upgrade options to fit your play style. Victory or defeat and even the permanent loss of a character depends on which characters you choose to take into battle and what decisions you make afterwards. But the journey is equally important. Your role in building and managing your caravan as you travel the vast frozen landscape is critical to not only your own survival but the survival of an entire civilization.
One thing’s for sure. The Banner Saga is an outstanding game and one of the best releases in the past few years (it’s been voted #6 on Green Man Gaming list of 30 games you must play). You should definitely try it out!
