You play as Jess, a 10-year-old kid who accidentally gets everyone’s favorite collectible card game banned at Dudsdale Elementary. Great first day at school. Very subtle entrance.
Of course, the kids keep playing anyway. Card battles go underground. Then mutants from the game start coming to life, because apparently detention was not dramatic enough.
This is a single-player RPG built around a fictional 90s card game called Mega Mutant Power Pets. You build decks, trade cards, earn upgrades, change rules, use stickers, and make permanent choices that shape your collection. No backsies. The game is very clear about that, which feels legally threatening.
It also has a Gauntlet Mode, where you pick a champion and fight through roguelike card battles with new cards, rules, and rewards after each win.
