This is a tactical auto-battler built around massive armies of mechs. You choose your units, position them on the battlefield, upgrade your forces, and then watch your carefully constructed plan either work beautifully or collapse because one enemy unit ruined absolutely everything.
The real strategy happens before each round. You need to predict what your opponent will do, counter their army composition, and decide whether to improve your existing units or bring something new onto the field. The battles themselves play out automatically, so winning depends much more on planning than fast reflexes.
Mechabellum includes competitive 1v1, 2v2, free-for-all battles, ranked play, tournaments, and both solo and co-op survival modes against AI-controlled enemies. There is also a Rift Mode with changing rules, so there are plenty of ways to discover that your brilliant strategy was, in fact, terrible.
