I’ve tried out first 20 minutes of Ocean Keeper: Dome Survival, an action roguelike underwater game where you drill for materials, upgrade your mech and fight hordes of sea monsters.

Survival mechanics are solid, though I think the game could benefit from more tools and gadgets to make the experience deeper (pun intended), luckily a full version is coming with more of everything (and a story mode).
Combat is decent but could use a little fine-tuning—right now, it feels like it’s lacking punch a bit. There are a lot of enemies but as with every game ever, more variety in enemy types would definitely be great.
Check out the version 0.8 gameplay video below:
Highlight for me? The game is super easy to figure out and just play. I also like the way the game captures that tense, isolated feeling of being trapped underwater while trying to fend off whatever’s out there (but that’s just me since I’m afraid of depths).
Ocean Keeper: Dome Survival is available on Steam.
