Another free Steam game is available right now. Eets by Klei Entertainment is currently 100% off on Steam, dropping from €9.99 to €0.00. The Steam page says it is free to keep when you claim it before June 15 at 10:00 AM.
Eets is a classic puzzle game from 2006, back when puzzle games were legally required to look cute and then quietly destroy your brain five levels later. Steam describes it as a mix of Lemmings and The Incredible Machine, with over 100 increasingly tricky puzzles, strange characters, and plenty of “wait, why did that explode?” energy.
The game looks adorable on the surface, but the whole point is experimenting with objects, timing, and weird little cause-and-effect setups to guide Eets through each level. Basically, it is cute chaos. Like giving a toddler a physics degree.
It is developed and published by Klei Entertainment, the studio behind games like Don’t Starve, Mark of the Ninja, Invisible, Inc., and Oxygen Not Included. Eets also has Positive Steam reviews, with 82% of 41 Steam purchaser reviews currently positive.
