Wild Terra 2: New Lands is a sandbox MMORPG set in a medieval world controlled by players. You can craft, build, trade, farm, fight, tame pets, explore dungeons, join guilds, or just wander around trying not to get bonked by someone with better gear. Medieval life, basically, but with slightly fewer taxes. Probably.
The game has a big focus on crafting and progression. You can become a blacksmith, builder, fisherman, healer, alchemist, baker, farmer, jeweler, trader, and more. Steam also notes that crafting is not just a one-click system, so expect a bit more detail than “press button, receive legendary sword.”
There is solo and group content, PvE and PvP zones, dungeons with different difficulty levels, pets to tame and raise, and a classless combat system where your weapon and skills define your role. So yes, you can probably reinvent yourself as a medieval mushroom-hoarding dungeon gremlin if that is your true calling.
Steam reviews are currently Mixed, with 62% of 1,314 user reviews positive, so maybe go in with reasonable expectations. But for free, this is still a pretty big MMO sandbox to add to your library.

Grab it while it is free. Your backlog can always use another survival MMO where you promise yourself you will “just test it for 20 minutes” and then wake up crafting shoes at 2 AM.
