Did you know that you can download a bunch of DLC for multiple Mass Effect and Dragon Age games on Origin? And yes, they are completely free!
This offer has been live since July when Bioware finally removed the awful Bioware points as the only way to buy incredibly expensive pieces of DLC. In a move that surprised everybody, EA decided to be nice and just give away all single-player DLC for multiple Mass Effect and Dragon Age games.
The following titles on Origin have free DLC you can get if you own base game:
- Dragon Age II
- Dragon Age: Origins
- Mass Effect 2
- Mass Effect 3 (except Multiplayer Packs)
HOW TO GET THESE DLC PACKS FOR FREE:
To get free DLC for Dragon Age Origins, Dragon Age II, Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3, players must have these games in their Origin library. Yes, you need base games to get DLC.
EDIT: Some of the commenters are reporting you CAN add certain DLC even if you don’t own the base game. It didn’t work for me but maybe it will for you? Give it a try!
Secondly, go to “extra content” tab on the games page to find all the DLC packs you can add to your account at no extra cost.
